Welcome to WP Nesting! This guide will get you from purchase to your first nesting job in a few minutes.
What you’ll need #
- A WordPress site where you want to run nesting
- An account on wpnesting.com
- An active plan (or a 14-day trial)
Quick start overview #
- Purchase a plan (or start a trial) on wpnesting.com
- Copy your API key from My Account → WP Nesting API Keys
- Click Generate activation token on the same page
- On your WordPress site, install the WP Nesting plugin
- Paste the API key + activation token into the plugin settings
- Paste the shortcode [wpnesting] on any page you want the form to display.
- Run your first nesting job
Step-by-step #
1) Get your API key #
- Log in to wpnesting.com
- Go to My Account → WP Nesting API Keys
- You’ll see your plan card with:
- API key
- Bound site (once activated)
- Usage remaining
2) Generate an activation token #
On the same card, click Generate activation token.
This token is required the first time you activate the plugin on a site.
3) Install the plugin on your site #
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New
- Click Upload Plugin
- Upload the WP Nesting plugin
.zip - Click Install Now, then Activate
4) Activate your site #
- Go to WP Nesting → Settings
- Paste your API key
- Paste your activation token
- Click Save
Once activation succeeds:
- Your key becomes locked to this site
- The activation token is no longer needed
What happens next #
- You can now run nesting jobs.
- Your monthly usage will decrement as you submit jobs.
- You’ll receive email warnings as you approach your limit.
